One of our family's favorite traditions is finding the perfect Christmas tree! We usually look high and low!! We've travelled all over Cambria county in search of a place where the trees are manicured into the traditional shape we have come to love!
Well, look no more!!! Located conveniently at 149 Northfork Road is the Greenwood Tree Farm!! They cultivate beautiful Douglas firs, Fraser firs, Concolors and Blue spruces!! Our personal favorite is the Concolor...smell faintly of citrus!
I have it on good authority that Mr. Greenwood spends many hours in the field trimming and shaping each tree!
In the spirit of an old fashioned tree farm, nothing is precut!! The fun is in the hunt! Once you find your perfect tree, you can either cut it or they will! Then they will cart it to your vehicle via a quad with a trailer!
All trees are $25+tax. Keep in mind for next year, that beginning around Thanksgiving, you can tag your tree for later pick-up!
