May 17, 2012
Admission is Free
6 to 10 pm
JOHNSTOWN, PA - Come join us May 17th from 6 to10 pm for the 2nd Annual Salvaged Treasures Project; a party and benefit auction for ART WORKS in Johnstown. Artists, artisans and crafters throughout the area are transforming previously used items or materials into new unique creations specifically for this event. These up-cycled or repurposed creations will be featured in the silent auction and a new addition to the evening, the up-cycled boutique where you can purchase fashions and accessories for you, your family, and your home and garden.
So bring the whole family and join celebrity emcee, Jim Burton for a free fun-filled party! Enjoy delicious food and drink from local restaurants and vendors, live entertainment and door prizes while bidding and shopping for the one-of-a-kind items.
Artisans and craftsmen; there’s still time for you to donate repurposed or upcycled items. Submissions will be accepted until May 11th. Items can be large or small, functional or decorative and be for indoor or outdoor use. All submissions become the property of ART WORKS. Items received after the deadline will be saved for next year.
