Happy Family Superfoods

Sponsored Review

By Julie Follansbee February 26, 2015
Who doesn't want the best nutrition for their child but who has time thought to make their own? Happy Family is the leading premium organic brand to deliver optimum nutrition for the entire family!  And guess what, it started with that exact scenario!  After observing a friend struggling to find healthy options for their children, founder Shazi Visram set out to develop a choice for parents that was nutritious, free of GMOs, organic and minimally processed. The result? Happy Family Superfoods! Owned and Operated by moms, Happy Family launched fittingly on Mother's Day 2006.  They like to say the foods are enlightened because they use the best ingredients nature has to offer.

working with nutritionists and pediatricians, Happy Family was the first to add  “superfoods” like the ancient whole grains amaranth and quinoa; fruits and vegetables like kale, mango and coconut; and Salba®, two special varieties of chia. Salba is exclusive to Happy Family baby food. Extra nutrition like probiotics, plant-based DHA, and choline for brain development is added when possible.

We got to try Happy Creamies, Happy Yogis, Happy Baby Teethers, Happy Tot Fiber & Protein pouch, and Happy Baby Stage 2 Simple Combos: Apple, Kale & Spinach.

The kids LOVED the Teethers!
These thin, oval, purple biscuits were a hit with the babies, toddlers and parents. Even the older kids enjoyed them. Designed for kids 7-9 months and up, we sampled the blueberry and purple carrot variety. They encourage babies to self feed because they dissolve very easily and are easy to hold. Gluten, dairy, soy and nut free, they are a must for those with food allergies (and those without!).

Made with coconut milk, Happy Creamies are freeze dried vegetable and fruit snacks loaded with probiotics for digestive health.. Best part...they rely on the natural sugars already found in the ingredients and don't need to add any.

How did they score with our moms?  On our score of 1-5 with 5 being the highest, they scored a 4.6!
Most of those surveyed said that they would probably buy these snacks for their little ones.

You can feel good about using the Happy Family brand.  Not only are they dedicated to feeding your family the best, but they support Project Peanut Butter an nonprofit that feeds starving children in Malawi and Sierra Leone.
