Welcome Our New Sponsor Kenny Cavanaugh's School of Irish Dance

You don't have to be Irish to learn to dance!

By Lauren Burkert Lazzari March 26, 2015
You've probably noticed the ad on the right side for our new sponsor, Kenny Cavanaugh's School of Irish Dance. Never heard of it? It's new to our area and if you are a fan of Riverdance, it might be worth looking into for your child. Enough interest and she may add classes for adults! Fingers crossed on that! I'm a wee bit Irish and wouldn't mind learning a new skill!

Here's a little bit about what's being offered. Need more info? Click on the ad in the side bar to the right.

In Fall 2014 the Kenny Cavanaugh School of Irish Dance began teaching lessons at the Bottle Works of Johnstown (
www.bottleworks.org).  The lessons for beginners ages 6-15 are Sundays from 3-4PM.  Students learn the basic movements of Irish Dance all the way through traditional set and ceili dances as well as contemporary and more advanced dances and steps.

Students also perform in the community and can be booked via the website.
