Here's what you need:
one paper plate
green paint (or basket color you prefer)
construction paper
glue
scissors
craft knife (optional)
cut of ribbon (optional)
Adults, with your craft knife or scissors, cut a semicircle in the paper plate as show in the photo. This will create a "handle" for your basket. Have your child paint the rest of the paper plate. While it is drying, cut out several flowers in different colors. Glue flowers to the inside of the basket "hole" so it looks as though they are sitting inside the basket. Glue one or two to the outside of the basket as if flowers are hanging out of it as well. Let glue dry and tie ribbon around the basket handle.
