Chips and salsa are a go-to at summer celebrations.

This sweet and spicy flavor combination is so delicious. Try a batch of this fruity salsa on a hot summer day and see for yourself.
The proportion of ingredients below is simply a guide. Feel free to experiment, adding more or less of any particular ingredient to fit your taste.

Watermelon Salsa
Ingredients:
- 1 seedless watermelon, chopped into small chunks
- 1 red onion chopped
- 5 jalapeño peppers, seeded and chopped
- 1 cup chopped basil
- Lime juice to taste

Directions:
Mix all ingredients together and serve immediately, with chips! Make your watermelon salsa even more of a standout by using the hollowed out watermelon as your "bowl."
