Ever wonder how snow forms? Join WTAJ-TV Meteorologist Christy Shields for a free online presentation, streamed Thursday, January 7th at 6pm on Science Cafe: Cosmic Cocktails' Facebook page, to discover the different types of snowflake shapes. Then learn how to create frost on a tin can in an experiment you can try at home!

The program is designed for kids grades 4 and up as well as for adults.

OPTIONAL: Place a takeout order at Allegheny Creamery and Crepes (814-696-5055 or on Chownow) on Thursday, January 7th to enjoy while you watch the presentation. The restaurant will donate 20% of ALL the day's sales to the Hollidaysburg Area Public Library!Prepare your questions! The program will include a live virtual question and answer session with meteorologist Christy Shields.Cosmic Cocktails is a program of the Saint Francis University Science Outreach Center.
