It’s interactive art making fun with Bottle Works!
Mrs. Maddy and youth coordinator Holly Lees will lead you this painting activity on the Zoom platform. You’ll learn how to paint this picture of a bunny and eggs while shappenging these paint application skills: color mixing and dry brush technique.
Here is a list of supplies you will need to complete the project (if you don’t have these items, Mrs. Maddy will give you a list of substitute supplies):
๐One 9x12 piece of heavy paint paper like watercolor or mixed media or a canvas.
๐A few different sized paint brushes from ½ inch and smaller.
๐Acrylic paint: white, blue, pink or red, yellow, light green, brown, and black.
๐A cup of water
๐paper towels for blotting.
Note: You can substitute Tempera paint for acrylic. If you don’t have all colors, don’t worry you can still come learn some new skills!
Who
Arts Academy, designed for ages 8 - 16, helps young creators hone their skills alongside professional artists.
This class is for ages 8 through 16. Younger students may join but they should have an adult working with them. Adults attending the class without a child will be removed from the zoom platform. You are required to join with video and audio you will be removed if you join without video. This is for the protection of participates. If you need help with zoom -contact us prior to the event.
Cost
