JOHNSTOWN, PA – For three days, over thirty 6 th -12 th graders and their team leaders with U th 4 Missions www.bethanyumc.church/latest-news/uth4mission/ ,will be conducting a “Build Up” service event during their three-day work session at Sandyvale Memorial Gardens and Conservancy. These school students will be engaging in numerous community service projects at Sandyvale.

During their mission week, students are encouraged to sign up for one of two mission opportunities.
The “Build Up” mission service opportunity is for those students who like working with their hands and will be helping to repair, build or in some way improve a work site. The other service opportunity is the “Reach Out” mission service which has students working with local churches and their VBS programs.

These students, who will be staying at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown during their mission week, will be working between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., June 28th , 29th and 30 th at Sandyvale.

The event is sponsored by the Western Pennsylvania Conference of the United Methodist Church.
