Hard to believe, but cold and flu season will be here before you know it. Nothing is worse than dry air, especially on a baby's delicate nasal passages and there is nothing as unattractive as a big honking humidifier...ask me how I know!! We have a big, brown ugly humidifier in our bedroom most of the winter.
When I got the chance to show this Crane Adorable (yes, that is what the line is called!) Cool Mist Humidifier to my Baby Brunch guests and then again to WTAJ Central Pa Live viewers, I was thrilled! I mean look at how ADORABLE it is! Shaped like a sheep, the mist comes out of the ears. This is definite cuteness to the nth degree and I could stop right there, but I won't.
Aside from being a really fun addition to your decor, this humidifier is whisper quiet and has an amazingly large 1 gallon water tank. An Auto-Shutoff feature assures added safety when the tank is empty. There's no filter to remember to change either...a real plus for me! The mist is cool, so no worries about kiddo getting burned from steam.
The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends cool mist humidifiers to relieve dryness and congestion especially for newborns since they are nose breathers for the first 4-6 months.
