It is my honor to support students from the 13th Congressional District who are pursuing the call to serve our nation. Every year, I have the great privilege of nominating outstanding young Pennsylvanians who are seeking an appointment to one of the five U.S. Service Academies, including the U.S. Air Force Academy, the U.S. Naval Academy, the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, the U.S. Military Academy, and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.
Service academies provide an unparalleled education, equip young Americans to lead, and offer an incredible opportunity to grow and serve.
If your high school senior or a student you know is interested in attending a service academy, further information and the application are available at JohnJoyce.House.gov. The deadline to submit service academy applications is November 1, 2020.
Last year, six students from our district received appointments to the service academies, and I encourage any Pennsylvania student who is curious about the nomination process to reach out to learn more.
As always, my team and I are ready to serve you and help answer any additional questions you may have about this process. Please do not hesitate to reach out to my office at (814) 656-6081 for assistance.
