The Art of the Tea Party

Description

Participants will sample teas and traditional tea fare, such as sandwiches, pastries, and the like. After refreshments are served, there will be a brief presentation on the history of tea, history of the “Tea Party”, and the social role it played in regency era Great Britain.

This program is set to coincide with the Season 2 premier of Netflix’s popular series, “Bridgerton”. Discussion will follow for participants to discuss the books, the Netflix series, tea, and the meaning it has in their own lives.
