Description

The 3rd Avenue Folk & Arts Fest takes place on July 20 & 21, 2024!
The festival is back for its eighth year, and promises to be the best one to date! Sponsored in part by the Bottle Works role as the Folk & Traditional Arts Partner with the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, the 3rd Avenue Folk & Arts Fest brings a celebration of the arts to Cambria City.

Live music (under the brand-new POP Pavilion!), art vendors, folk art demonstrations, chalk street art, food trucks, and beer! This year we are partnering with several other area non-profit organizations to make this the most spectacular, family-friendly, and free event around! The Johnstown Concert Ballet, Beginnings Inc., the Cambria County Library, and the folks at ACRP will all be participating!

Our exhibits will be “I shall wear a crown” – a history of African American Women’s Hats in Johnstown, Fluid Works – acrylic pour paint groups show, and a special exhibit from the GJSD!
Our art vendors will include favorites like Hero Works Publishing, Simple Stitch by Rayna LLC, Carol Churchey Fiber Arts, Colleen Albright, and many more!

Join the Bottle Works quilting team and participate in the hand quilting on the BW quilt!

If you are interested in being a chalk street artist, an art vendor, or a food vendor, please reach out to our Executive Director, Matt Lamb, at mlamb@bottleworks.org
